SNOWMAN, SANTA & GINGERBREAD SHAPED PANCAKES!
Christmas morning deserves a hearty breakfast! One day I had a genius idea of using cookie cutters to make pancakes in different shapes! Its not as easy as cookies but it does the trick! I tried this for the first time last year and this year I needed to bring it back!
Ingredients are pretty standard:
- Bisquick Pancake Mix
- Cooking Spray
- Toll House Chocolate Chips
- Powdered Sugar
- Aunt Jemima Maple Syrup
I followed the recipe on the Bisquick Pancake Mix box and since I was only cooking for me, I cut the recipe in half.
I combined the mix, eggs and milk in a mixing bowl and blended with a hand blender. Then I added the chocolate chips and mixed with spatula.
Once the pan was heated, I sprayed some cooking spray on the pan and on the cookie cutters and placed them in the pan. Then I slowly poured my pancake mix into each cookie cutter.
After that, just cook the pancakes like normal. Once one side was cooked, I did have to use my spatula to peel off the pancakes from the cookie cutter so I could flip them. And then cook on the opposite side.
Once they were cooked, I sprinkled the pancakes with powdered sugar and cinnamon and then poured on some syrup and DONE! Its not complicated at all!
Disclaimer: The reindeer didn’t make it this year!
